What this covers
This notice covers unitlabs.in and every Unit Labs app and game, including titles that do not exist yet. It is one notice for the studio. A product can add its own page on this site, such as Filament privacy, Dotwell privacy, Afterlane privacy, and DailyReport privacy, with detail for that product. Where the two differ for that product, the product page applies.
Information we collect
What we receive depends on the product and on what you turn on. Shop records can stay on the device until an optional account or sync is turned on. If you sign in, we can receive the name and email the sign-in provider sends. If you buy a feature in a store, we can receive that the purchase is entitled. We do not take your card number. If you turn on notifications, we can hold a token for the alerts you asked for. If a free tier shows ads, the advertising service can receive an advertising identifier. If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply.
How we use it
We use information to run the product you opened, to keep an optional account, to unlock a paid feature, to send notifications you opted into, to show ads on a free tier when that product has one, and to answer you. We do not sell personal data.
Legal bases
Where a law such as the GDPR asks for a basis, we rely on the contract to provide the product you asked for, on consent where a product asks for it, on legitimate interests for security and reliability, and on a legal duty where one applies. You can withdraw consent without undoing processing that was already lawful.
Other sites
A link that leaves Unit Labs is governed by that other site. A news story can open a publisher. A shop payment, when a product offers one, is handled by the payment provider.
Social login
When a product offers sign-in, it can use a Google account. We receive the identifiers that provider sends so we can recognise the account. You keep that sign-in secure.
International transfer
Unit Labs builds for people in India first. A service we use can process information in India or in another country. Where the law requires a safeguard for a transfer, we use one the provider offers, such as a contract clause.
How long we keep it
Account data stays while the account is in use, and for a short time after, for backups, disputes, and legal duties. A verified request to delete account data we hold is aimed at 30 days. Data that never left the device is cleared on the device. The store, and a payment provider, can keep their own records.
Security
We use access controls and encryption in transit for online features. No method is perfect. You remain responsible for the lock on your device and for the account you use to sign in.
Minors
Unit Labs products are not for children under 13. A shop tool is for adults. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Where the law gives them, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal data we hold, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Use Contact. We can ask you to show the request is yours.
Do not track
This catalog does not track you across sites, so a browser Do Not Track signal has nothing to switch off here. An app that shows ads follows the consent and advertising-id controls on the device.
Regional rights
If you live where a local law gives extra rights, including a right to complain to a supervisory authority, those rights apply. We do not sell personal data. Write to us first if you want a concern addressed.
Automated decisions
We do not make a decision about you by automation alone that has a legal effect or a similar serious effect. A trust label on a news story is a coverage signal, not a ruling. Unlocking a paid feature after a store confirms a purchase is delivery of that feature.
Updates
We can update this notice. The date at the top changes when we do. For a material change we will say so on this page when we can.
