Effective Publisher: Unit Labs
What we publish
A bite is a short account of reporting by other outlets, with the publisher named and a link to the original article. Those outlets keep their rights in their articles. Unit Labs does not claim ownership of the underlying pieces. This page is how a rightsholder, or someone named in a bite, asks us to review one.
This is also the contact for notices under US copyright law and for notices of unlawful content from users and authorities in the EEA and the UK. We do not publish a street address. Email is how we receive a notice.
How to send a notice
Write to support@unitlabs.in with the subject "DailyReport copyright notice". Include:
- The URL of the bite, or enough detail for us to find it, including the headline and the edition.
- The URL of the work you say is yours, or a description of it.
- What you want: removal, a credit, or a correction.
- Your name, your email, and a statement that you are the rightsholder or authorized to act for them.
- A statement that you believe the use is not authorized, and that the notice is accurate.
Do not send a password, a payment card number, or an attachment you do not have the right to share.
What we do
We aim to review a complete notice within 14 days. We may remove the bite, change it, or refuse with a short reason. A notice that does not let us find the bite will be sent back for the missing detail. We can limit or end access for someone who repeatedly sends material that draws valid notices.
If you disagree
If your bite was removed because of a notice and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address with the subject "DailyReport copyright counter-notice". Say which bite, why you believe the removal was wrong, and how to reach you. We will consider it and may restore the bite. Sending a notice or a counter-notice does not, by itself, decide a court case.
Other unlawful content
The same address receives notices that a bite is defamatory, that it exposes private information, or that it is otherwise unlawful where you live. Say what is unlawful, why, and what you want changed. A factual mistake that is not a legal notice can go to the corrections page. We may share a notice with counsel or with a court if the law requires it.
