DailyReport
Deletion
Effective Publisher: Unit Labs
On your phone
Open DailyReport, then Settings, then sign out. To wipe the copy on that phone, uninstall DailyReport, or in Android Settings, then Apps, then DailyReport, then Storage, then Clear storage. That deletes the app data on that phone at once. Signing out and clearing storage does not cancel Plus. See Refunds.
Account and mail
If you signed in, we may hold the Google account identifiers and the preferences synced to the service, including saves, likes, dismissals, topic switches, and custom feeds. To ask for those records to be deleted, write to support@unitlabs.in with the subject "DailyReport data deletion request". Include the Google account email you used and, if you bought Plus, the order number from the store receipt. Never send a password. You can also start from the form on dailyreport.observer/delete-data.html, which opens your mail app. Nothing is stored by that form before you send the mail.
If you emailed us, we may hold that address and the message. Ask for those records in the same request.
Timeline
We delete account data and support mail within 30 days of a verified request, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you.
Google Play
Deleting our records does not cancel a Plus subscription and does not delete Google's copy of the purchase. Cancel Plus in the Play Store. Google can keep purchase and sign-in records under its own retention policies.
What can remain
A bite that quoted public reporting can remain published, because it is not your account data. A request to correct or remove a story goes to the corrections page or the copyright page. The same points are in the privacy policy.
